Erik Iverson is CEO/Owner - Erik is a jack of all trades and is THE BETTER PLAN MAN!  Erik is very passionate about safety, compliance and doing all things right the first time.  Growing up on Lake Fenton in Michigan, Erik bought his first sailboat at age 10 and has been hooked ever since. Erik left those early sailing days which consisted of sailing & power boating on the inland lakes and Great Lakes of MI to start a successful career as a pro extreme skier and snowmobiler but has now made his way back to his first true love the wind and boats. From working in the rigging department as a kid to refitting his own boats later in life, Erik has the experience and skills to take care of all boating needs. Erik currently has a Catalina Mk II slipped on the Infamous Lake Dillon & loves to spend his summer days sailing the erratic and challenging winds that Lake Dillon is known for.  As an active member of the Lake Dillon Marina and boating community, Erik has the experience to take care of ALL your boating needs...and then some, because he always has a better plan!  

Amy oversees all of the company’s finances & logistics management. She is also responsible for human resources and licensing. Amy holds a B.A. in Business Administration with an Entrepreneurship Emphasis from Western State Colorado University. Amy has over 17 years of accounting/finance experience. Before coming on full time with Better Plan, Amy gained experience in the public accounting industry as an accounting manager for EideBailly, LLP, a regional public accounting & business advisory firm, for 8 years. Amy was also the sole accounting manager for Copper Mountain Resort Association and The Village at Copper in Summit County Colorado with both associations having a combined budget of over $5M/year and growing.  Amy currently owns a successful, small accounting services company and has owned this for the past nine years. Amy has assisted Erik with all aspects of his career and continues to assist him with the finance and operation of all successful start-up companies. Amy is also known as the "accounting wizard" of our company.

Dan is an avid sailor on Lake Dillon in Colorado and is very experienced in any type of weather.  He brings years of experience as a sailor of a 26' Ericson sailboat and has an amazing positive attitude!  Dan has tons of experience with boat delivery, provisioning & navigation.
